Since it was first sold commercially in the 1920s, TV has continued to evolve over time; we call it Evolution and Revolution of TV! There are at least some moments where TV development is going so fast, one of which is what is triggered by the emergence of laser discs, videocassettes, CDs, DVDs and now Blu-ray. The second revolution was the TV’s way to catch the broadcast. Satellite and cable are two popular methods and for reasons of cost and programming capabilities, satellite TV is the best choice.
How to buy satellite tv and how to deal with it well
First of all you should emphasize some of the following considerations before buying!
Make Sure “Free or Paid”
Basically, antenna programming is available for free but in most cases is very limited. To gain wider coverage on many channels, satellite TV paid services are an important thing to consider. Most companies apply special code to every broadcast signal; however some networks are broadcast without code protection. Commonly called FTA or “Free to Air”, FTA signals can be captured with a regular parabola.
Signal types
The satellite dish has a working principle of “reflection acceptance.” This means that the parabolic dish captures signals that are reflected by satellites in outer space. This device also has the main function as a signal decoding tool. Before purchasing a satellite TV set, make sure that your parabola can later “digest” the reflected broadcast signals. They are not equal to each other and the main distinguishing parameter is the frequency of the signals used (VHF and UHF).
Installing a satellite dish
This can be a tiring job for most people. Make sure you know exactly the terms of installation before you actually buy. If you are a beginner, making sure you get a free installation is a very important thing. Just a little advice, try to select the coaxial cable to perform the signal conversion process from the LNB (receiver device is attached to the antenna). This type of cable is well protected, preventing signal leakage from the system.
Positioning
The antennas are available in many sizes and the latest models are large and multi-way. Satellite TV uses the principle of horizontal polarization with the ability to multiply through fixed frequency bands. Basically, the antenna can be divided into two major parts; directional and omni-directional. If the channels you want to get come mostly from one direction, you are encouraged to use directional type. Conversely, if you want to expand the catch range, omni-directional is the best choice.
Consider the environment
The placement of the antenna as the backbone of a satellite TV device should be arranged so as to avoid any signal blocking of any kind. Note the placement of the antenna holder so that obstacles such as trees, building houses, etc. do not block reception of signals
